Maya, Landscape Architect

Maya is a California Licensed Landscape Architect with a master’s from the University of California, Berkeley.  She moved to the United States after completing an International Baccalaureate in the South of France, where she spent much of her childhood. Maya’s interest in Design and Architecture was sparked from a very young age through the experience of growing up in many different countries and observing the wide range of social, cultural and climatic influences on the built environment.

Maya approaches design with the belief that every space is a reflection of the people, place, and time in which it is created. She strives to craft gardens that tell each client’s unique and personal story. A strong advocate for the classical foundations of architecture, she draws inspiration from time-honored patterns and proportions that have evoked beauty and comfort for centuries, seamlessly blending tradition with innovation. Above all, Maya has a deep love and fascination for the botanical world, finding no work more fulfilling than collaborating with nature to create lasting, beautifully designed gardens.
